FAQ
Paper types are categorized by weight. In the European system, it’s grams per square meter (gsm), while in the US, it’s pounds (lb). Stationery paper for writing/printing, like letterheads, falls between 60 to 120 gsm (20 to 70 lb) and is called paper or text stock. Anything heavier is termed card stock, used for items like business cards, postcards, etc., and is measured in points.
Offset printing is generally considered higher quality, though digital printing quality has improved significantly. Offset handles larger sheets and larger quantities faster. However, the finished products of both methods can be quite similar. The choice between them often comes down to budget and business needs.
